     Easy Peasy Peach Sorbet

This simple sorbet may just be the perfect finish to a summer meal.

It takes just a few ingredients and is made in advance so there’s no last minute mess making in the kitchen.

    Here’s what you’ll need:

    • 5 Fresh peaches (you can substitute 4 cups of frozen peach slices if needed)
    • 1/4 C milk or almond milk
    • 2 Tbsp honey
    • Lemon zest from 1 small lemon
    • Food processor or high powered blender such as a Vitamix.

Remove the pits from the peaches, dice them into one inch pieces. Place in a sealable bag and freeze them for several hours or overnight.

Place diced frozen peaches into a food processor/blender along with the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

Place the mixture into a freezer safe container. You can use a spoon/spatula to create a smooth finish. Wrap tightly or seal the container and allow to freeze at least 5 hours before serving.
