Move over Charcuterie, There's a New Board in Town

By now, we've all seen how popular a charcuterie board is for feeding a crowd.  It's fun to artfully present an array of cheeses, meats, crackers, nuts, fruit, and spreads for our guests to choose from.

This month, I am inspired to create what I am calling a Bar Board! You can do this whether you are serving alcohol or non-alcohol based drinks. Simply, pull out that board and arrange a bowl or bucket of ice and a collection of mixers, edible garnishes, and any spirits you would like to include. Add a small measuring cup, a bar spoon, and some cute skewers to hold garnishes.

Just like a charcuterie board, you can make your bar board as simple or complex as you like. For my bar board, I have included the Hibiscus Rooibos Syrup, Gingerbread Sugar Blend, and Orange Slices from our December box. I've also included, ginger beer, ginger ale, lemon lime soda, club soda, mint leaves, raspberries, and an array of citrus garnishes. For my Kentucky friends who love a good cocktail, I have added some Bourbon as an option. Guests can have fun trying their hand at mixology as they play with different flavor combinations. You can choose to build a similar board for your next gathering or celebration. Or, get creative with your own ideas. Enjoy!!
